Most of our customers who are slightly gluten intolerant can eat sourdough bread because the natural leavening process predigests gluten. For those who are more intolerant, we have also developed a gluten-free sourdough, millet and buckwheat bread, which is extremely popular! The recipe has been perfected throughout the winter to make it more fluffy and airy than most commercial gluten-free breads. Our customers buy several to slice and freeze them, so they always have them at home. Our gluten-free bread makes a great little gift for your intolerant family member or friend. We are now developing other recipes for gluten-free cookies, cakes and treats … we will notify you of our progress!
